Marketplace Rules & Seller Guide

Bhazar is a curated home for independent makers and verified merchants.

Who can sell

Individuals (PFA / II) and registered companies based in the EU. You must be at least 18 and able to issue a valid invoice or fiscal receipt.

One account, one identity

Each seller account maps to one real person or legal entity. Multiple shops require prior approval.

Guild fit

Your products must genuinely belong to one of the six guilds (Tech, Craft, Merchant, Omnism, Frith, Victualler). Mislabeled shops are re-categorized or suspended.

Trust is the product. Verification unlocks the Bhazar Verified badge and higher buyer confidence.

Identity check

We confirm your legal identity or company registration (CUI / VAT) before payouts are enabled.

Bhazar Verified

Makers who pass an extended review — authentic craft, consistent fulfillment, clean dispute history — earn the Verified badge and priority placement.

Keeping status

Verification is ongoing. Repeated policy breaches, fakes, or unresolved disputes revoke the badge.

Honest, accurate listings protect buyers and your reputation.

Accurate descriptions

Title, photos, materials, dimensions, condition and lead time must match the actual item. Use your own photos.

Pricing

Set fair, transparent prices in the listing currency. No bait pricing, no hidden surcharges added after checkout.

Stock & lead time

Keep quantities current and state a realistic handling time. Persistent overselling or late dispatch affects your standing.

Listing types

Standard, Unique (one-of-a-kind), Limited Edition and Auction listings are supported. Pick the type that truthfully describes the item.

Listing is free. Bhazar earns only when you make a sale.

No listing fee

Publishing products costs nothing. You only pay on a completed sale.

Commission

A platform commission is deducted from each completed order. The current rate is shown in your seller dashboard before you confirm a listing.

Payment processing

Card and wallet processing fees charged by the payment provider are applied per transaction and shown in your payout breakdown.

Payouts

Funds are released to your registered bank account after the order is delivered and the return window passes, net of commission and fees.

Buyer money is held safely until the order is fulfilled — protecting both sides.

How escrow works

At checkout the buyer's payment is authorized and held by Bhazar's payment provider. It is captured and queued for payout only once the order ships and is delivered.

Buyer protection

If an item never arrives or is materially not as described, the held funds can be refunded through the dispute process.

Cash on delivery

COD is available for eligible verified sellers within Romania up to a set order value, with its own confirmation rules.

You control your shipping; Bhazar holds you to clear, honest delivery.

Your rates

You set per-listing or shop-wide shipping rates by destination. Carrier adapters help generate labels and tracking.

Dispatch on time

Ship within the handling time you promised and add tracking. Buyers and Bhazar can see fulfillment status end to end.

Packaging

Pack items to arrive undamaged. Damage from poor packaging is the seller's responsibility.

EU consumer law applies, with a clear, fair process for both sides.

14-day right of withdrawal

Buyers may return most items within 14 days of delivery, in line with EU distance-selling rules. Certain items (custom-made, perishable, hygiene-sealed) are exempt.

How refunds flow

Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method once the item is received back in acceptable condition.

Disputes

If buyer and seller can't agree, Bhazar mediates using order evidence (photos, tracking, messages) and decides fairly.

To keep Bhazar safe and legal, the following may not be listed.

Illegal or restricted goods

Weapons, drugs, controlled substances, and anything illegal to sell in the EU or the buyer's country.

Counterfeits & IP theft

Fakes, replicas, or items that infringe trademarks, copyrights or another maker's designs.

Unsafe or recalled products

Items that fail EU safety standards, lack required markings (e.g. CE), or have been recalled.

Hateful or harmful content

Items promoting hate, violence, or that exploit or endanger people.

Clear standards keep the marketplace trustworthy for everyone.

Communicate respectfully

Reply to buyers promptly and professionally through Bhazar messaging. Keep transactions on-platform.

No manipulation

No fake reviews, no review-gating, no artificial ranking, no off-platform payment steering to dodge protection.

Consequences

Breaches lead to warnings, listing removal, withheld payouts, badge loss, or account suspension depending on severity.
